TOPS CUSTOM SHOP Fixed-blade Knives are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for life. * Please continue to read information on terms and conditions of this warranty.
TOPS CUSTOM SHOP Folding Knives are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of original purchase.
TOPS CUSTOM SHOP Sheaths are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.
A copy of the original certificate of authenticity may be requested for warranty repair / replacement service for all fixed blade and folding knives. This is to verify you have a genuine TOPS CUSTOM SHOP Knife.
This warranty becomes null and void if the knife is abused.
TOPS CUSTOM SHOP WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Loss or theft
Broken knife tips, chipped edges
Damage caused by throwing, prying, misuse, abuse, alterations, improper handling, neglect, accident, improper sharpening, or normal wear
Scratched/chipped/worn coatings from use or contact with sheath
Oxidation of the steel (rust)
Natural irregularities in genuine leather sheaths, or variations in the patterning/coloring from the various coatings and finishes that are offered
In some cases, use of a baton to split wood, will qualify as misuse. We do not warranty use of any 1/8" or thinner knife for chopping / batoning
Normal wear and tear from use
It is incumbent upon the owner to ensure that the knife is secure in its sheath and that the use of the knife is restricted to prudent and applicable functions.
Any misuse of this knife other than to fulfill normal "knife-like" functions will result in voiding of this warranty. TOPS Custom Shop reserves the right to make the final decision as to what is considered "fair use" or "abuse". Please contact us if you have any questions.
To receive warranty service, TOPS Custom Shop requires proof of purchase and/or a copy of the original certificate of authenticity.

TOPS will review your claim and provide an initial reply within 3 business days after receipt of the knife. Photos sent by email will expedite the claim process.
If approved, warranty coverage includes repair labor or, when applicable, a replacement product. Because of the nature of the knives made and sold by TOPS Custom Shop, a 1-to-1 replacement may not be possible. If a replacement is necessary, a knife of equal or near equal value will be selected as a replacement.
Warranty service will also cover return shipping charges for US Customers Only within the first 60 days after the purchase date (must provide proof of purchase date).
All International customers or claims are subject to shipping charges to and from TOPS Custom Shop.
